Longoria Leaves Practice Early
The Rays are in the midst of their first full squad workout today, but they are down one Rookie of the Year as Evan Longoria left practice early due to discomfort from his wisdom teeth extractions on Friday. The Rays wanted to be cautious against any possible infection.

It is good that he has the problems now with about 6 days until the first game. Hopefully it will not turn into a abcess and take more time and antibiotics to repair the damage. But even if he missed a game or two, it will not keep him out of the Opening Day lineup.
