Upton Talks
B.J. Upton arrived in camp Sunday and talked to reporters.
The Rays center-fielder said there will be no hard feelings between him and the team carrying over from the arbitration hearing he lost last week; he also said he’s putting his years from age 19 to 25 behind him.
Upton sounded sincere when he said there would be no further incidents that will compel manager Joe Maddon to lift him from the game for lack of hustle. In short, Upton had a positive outlook and seemed excited about the coming season.
