Rays Summer Concert Series

The Rays announced the first five acts for the coming summer’s concert series.

John Fogerty – April 24, Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 6:10 p.m.

ZZ Top – May 1, Rays vs. Kansas City Royals, 6:10 p.m.

Nelly – May 15, Rays vs. Seattle Mariners, 4:10 p.m.

Daryl Hall and John Oates – May 29, Rays vs. Chicago White Sox, 7:10 p.m.

The Go-Go’s – July 10, Rays vs. Cleveland Indians, 7:10 p.m.

The concerts are free with the purchase of that night’s game ticket.  As part of its Saturday partnership, Hess Express will have an exclusive in-store ticket offer.  Tickets for these games and all other Rays home games are available online Feb. 26, and will be available Feb. 27 at the Tropicana Field Box Office, Rays Tampa Office & Pro Shop, via the Rays official website (raysbaseball.com or raysbeisbol.com), all Ticketmaster locations and by calling 888-FAN-RAYS.

Full season ticket holders who purchased all 81 games in the Home Plate Club, Whitney Bank Club, Fieldside Box, Lower Infield Box or Lower Box locations will receive wristbands for special on-field access during the concert series.  Season ticket plans including all the Summer Concert Series games offer up to 33 percent savings and include postseason privileges.

Since the concert series debuted in 2008, the Rays have gone 16-2 and averaged more than 30,000 fans on those dates.

The Rays will also add postgame concerts to the following Saturday dates: June 12 vs. the Florida Marlins; June 26 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks; August 14 vs. the Baltimore Orioles; September 18 vs. the Los Angeles Angels; and September 25 vs. the Seattle Mariners.
