Zobrist Works in the Infield
Ben Zobrist worked in the infield during the Rays’ first full-squad workout on Wednesday.
Zobrist is a candidate to play second base, right field, or both positions. For the time being, Rays manager Joe Maddon said it’s likely that Zobrist will work with the infielders during their drills and he’ll get his outfield work by doing extra work.
