An Hour Until the First Pitch

The Rays are about an hour away from their first exhibition game of the season against the Orioles in Sarasota.

If the game began right now, there would no doubt be a lot of home runs to left as a stiff wind is blowing out. The sun is up, but it is a chilly day.

“Big Game” James Shields will start for the Rays and get in an inning of work. Matt Garza will follow Shields and there’s a good chance we’ll see Jake McGee pitch today as well.
