More About Fan Fest
Fan Fest presented by MetroPCS takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tropicana Field.
Admission and parking are free for the event and a $40 charitable donation will allow fans the opportunity to get autographs from Rays players and coaches. Autographs for season ticket holders and kids 14 and under are free.
Among some of the new features at Fan Fest this year will be a Rays Charity Yard Sale — including game-used and autographed bats, baseballs, jerseys, batting helmets and lineup cards; Maddon’s Feast that will see the Rays manager serve Italian food to a limited number of fans from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; fans can buy pieces of the Field Turf that was used while the Rays twice won the AL East; they can chat with Ken Rosenthal from Fox Sports from 4 to 5 p.m.; 40 former Major League players will sign autographs for free throughout the day; and Reading with the Rays will see Rays players read selected stories throughout the day.
Fans can call 888-FAN-RAYS or log on to raysbaseball.com for more information about the 2011 Rays Fan Fest.
